Jeremy’s City career has included working with Lazard Brothers & Co. Limited as a corporate finance manager, Director of Baring Securities Limited as Head of European Equities, Head of Latin America and Head of Capital Markets in turn, Managing Director of Inverlat International Limited, and Managing Director of Woodbridge Investment Management Limited.
Currently Jeremy is Chairman of the Saccone and Speed (Gibraltar) Group of Companies since 1996 and Managing Director of Casemates Investments Limited, Arbiter Fund Managers Limited’s UK based parent company.
Denis has worked in both the Retail and Wholesale sectors, initially within the Military environment with the Navy Army Airforce Institutes in Germany, Norway, United Kingdom and Gibraltar. He joined Saccone & Speed (Gibraltar) Limited in 1993 and became Group Managing Director in 1996.
Nick has worked for Ernst & Young, London, and Lloyd’s managing agent John Heynes & Company. He moved to Gibraltar in 1988 to join Saccone & Speed (Gibraltar) Limited .He joined the board as Management Services Director, with responsibility for the tobacco business, systems, the production department and warehousing & distribution.
Prakash began his career in accountancy with Ernst & Whinney (later Ernst & Young) Chartered Accountants, Gibraltar in 1988, with whom he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. He is experienced in international insolvency as well as auditing Gibraltar's businesses in the shipping, financial services, distribution and banking sectors and Public Sector Agencies. In 1998 Prakash joined Republic National Bank of New York, Gibraltar as Financial Controller.
In 2000, Prakash was invited to join Saccone & Speed (Gibraltar) Limited as Finance Manager and was appointed to the Board as Financial Director in 2002 and was appointed Company Secretary in 2005. In 2007, Prakash was appointed Managing Director of Amalgamated Builders' Merchants Limited. In addition to financial and related matters, his areas of responsibility include Group properties, pensions, tied estate, insurance, legal matters, as well as industrial relations.
Prakash is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Chartered Management Institute and Member the Association of Accounting Technicians. In March 2007, Prakash obtained a Masters in Enterprise Management from the University of Durham.
The Governor of Gibraltar appointed Prakash a Justice of the Peace for Gibraltar in 2010.
Stephen was educated in Gibraltar and St Mary's College, Twickenham, University of London.
His early career included working for a U.K. Government Department, teaching, in both U.K. and Gibraltar and working in the licensed trade, again in both U.K. and Gibraltar.
Since joining Saccone & Speed (Gibraltar) Limited in 1998, he has worked in the Commercial and Marketing departments, initially as a Manager and heading the Department since January 2002. He was appointed to the Board in 2005 as Commercial Director. In May 2006, Stephen was appointed as Sales & Commercial Director. As such, his areas of responsibility cover the sourcing, purchasing, marketing and sales of the entire non tobacco portfolio.
During this time, he has become a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. In March 2007, Stephen obtained a Masters in Enterprise Management from the University of Durham.
Hugh started his career with Barings Securities where he rose to become the head of derivative trading research. In 1993 he joined Inverlat as a founding director where he was responsible for derivative trading. He headed a team of ten and oversaw a highly profitable operation. In 1996 it was sold to the Bank of Nova Scotia. He founded Woodbridge Investment management where he developed ''Smart Momentum'' trading system for currencies. He published a book using this title in 2001. Hugh won two major industry awards in 2000 and 2002 for the funds that he ran. Woodbridge was HSBC's manager of choice for currency. In 2003 he joined Arbiter to manage both the currency and the risk side of the business.
Andrew joined the Group in 1973 as a clerk in the old factory on Devil's Tower Road and was promoted to Chief Clerk in 1980. In 1988 he was transferred to the Accounts department and shortly thereafter appointed Purchase Ledger & Wages Manager. In 2000, Andrew took over responsibilities as Group Accountant and was appointed as Associate Director – Finance in 2002.
In addition to his accounting responsibilities, Andrew is also Chairman of the Group's Incident Management Team.
