Sales & Commercial Director

Stephen was educated in Gibraltar and St Mary’s College, Twickenham, University of London. His early career included working for a U.K. Government Department, teaching, in both U.K. and Gibraltar and working in the licensed trade, again in both U.K. and Gibraltar.

He joined Saccone & Speed (Gibraltar) Limited in 1998, working in the Commercial and Marketing departments, heading the Department since January 2002. He was appointed to the Board in 2005 as Commercial Director. In May 2006, Stephen was appointed as Sales & Commercial Director, responsible for the purchasing and sales of the entire nontobacco portfolio.

During this time, he has become a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. In March 2007, Stephen obtained a Masters in Enterprise Management from the University of Durham, and a Level 7 Advanced Professional Non Executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times in July 2018.

As from February 2022, Stephen has been tasked with coordinating the physical move of the entire Gibraltar operation to new premises, offices and systems.
